Daniel Oliver Knipp, age 79, of Dodge City, KS, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Select Specialty Hospital, in Wichita, KS.

Memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Casey’s Cowtown Club, 503 E Trail St., Dodge City, KS 67801.

Dan was born on December 28, 1943, in Scott City, KS. He was the son of Gilbert and Barbara (Conner) Knipp. Dan was one of six children.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his three children; Daniel Knipp, of Louisburg, KS, Sharon Lorensen, of Mansfield, TX, and Patsy Hickey, of Wichita, KS, two brothers; Sam and John Knipp, three sisters; Sue Richenburg, Ruth VanPelt, Anita Bernbeck, and eight grandchildren.
