Carol Virginia Meeks, age 75, daughter of Fletcher Slaughter and Fannie Worlds-Warren, was born on June 17, 1944 in Centralia, Illinois. She passed away on April 15, 2020 in Omaha, Nebraska.Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Fletcher and Fannie; grandsons, Jerrell and Richard Meeks; brothers, Larry Jackson and Donald Worlds.She is survived and will be missed by her children: Rhonda Meeks, Vonda Jones, Richard (Regina) Meeks, Eric Meeks; grandchildren: Bryan (Jasmine) Meeks, Daronte (Rochelle) Meeks, DeShaya Meeks, Lakeah Meeks, Toshae Meeks, Javon Meeks, Tyrell Jones, Eric (Stephanie) Andrews, Davonte Andrews, Taija Crawford, Shenita Smith-Meeks, Dymond Meeks, Micah Meeks, LaToya Williams, Erika Meeks, Marque Magness, Tierra Meeks, Brontae Evans; many great children; siblings: Kenneth Worlds, Robert Worlds, Rick Taggert, Mona Warren, Erving Warren, Gerald Warren, Vannessa Warren, Rodney Warren; many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Private family graveside service will be held May 1st, 2020 at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
