Mr. Roger Leslie Lewis was born on June 13, 1941 and was called home to glory on November 28, 2016. He led a life of service to his family and community.He was a Veteran of the USAF, Captain of the Omaha Fire Department and husband of the late Mrs Karen Lewis.He is survived by his four children Kathy Smallwood, Gary Hawkins Jr, Michael Lewis, and Leslie Ware, four siblings Richetta Wilson, Richard Lewis Jr, Victor Lewis and Yvette Woods, grandchildren Rashawn Hawkins and DeRon Smallwood, Nicholas and Shelby Hawkins, Celeste, Cameron and Aliza Lewis, Naomi and Mikala Ware, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. His spirit is with us all until we meet again.

As a father-in-law, Roger always made feel included and welcomed. He was patient, kind, and always listened to my thoughts. I will forever cherish the time we had together.
