Arlo Dwayne Olsen, age 85, the son of Floyd Chris Olsen and Velma Clara (Larsen) Olsen, was born February 4, 1936 near Alta, Iowa. He passed away December 18, 2021 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Arlo is survived by his wife, Donna; children: Karen Keeler (Randy), Chris Olsen (Christi), Caryl Cox (Tom), Laura Melendy (Mike); grandchildren: Cathleen, Sean, Becca, Josh, Maddie, Eric, Katie; great-grandchildren: Cole, Charli, Brynlee; brother, Verlyn Olsen (Norma); loving dog, Bailey; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Floyd and Velma Olsen; sister, Norma; brother, Ronnie.

GRRIN was founded in 1991 and is a registered 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization. We provide a network for sheltering, rehabilitating and finding loving homes for Golden Retrievers in distress. In the last 25 years we have worked to place over 1200 dogs in wonderful "furever" homes. All of our work is carried out by volunteers who give their time to transport dogs, screen potential adopters, man our phone line, and open their homes to a foster dog that will ultimately be adopted by a loving family.
