Richard Ralph Grimit
Richard Ralph Grimit, age 81, son of James Sr. and Edna Grimit, was born on January 30, 1939 in Omaha, Nebraska. Richard passed peacefully on May 1, 2020 at Josie Harper Hospice House where he volunteered after his retirement. He is survived and will be missed by his loving wife, Mary Grimit; sons: Ralph (Lori), Steve (Kim) and Jeff Grimit; stepchildren: David (Michelle) Cleasby, Owen Cleasby, Carrie (Jeff) Wilkison; grandchildren: Nicole, Jim, Leah, Luke and Grant; sisters, Ellen Ryder and Laura (Don) Orris; brothers, Bob (Pat) Grimit and Larry (Anna) Grimit; many other family and friends. A memorial mass will be said for Richard on July 23, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. at St. John's Catholic Church - Creighton, 2500 California Plaza, Omaha, NE 68178.In lieu of flowers, in honor of Richard, memorials are suggested to the Parkinson's Foundation and St. John's Catholic Church - Creighton.
