<p>James Arron Dobbs, 18 years of age of Kershaw, SC, passed away October 15, 2022. Born November 1, 2003 in Richlands, VA, he is the son of David Dobbs of Pea Patch, VA and Amy and Greg Bennett of Kershaw, SC.</p><p><br></p><p>James enjoyed listening to music, loved laughing, animals, and talking with his family. He is a loving son, grandson, great-grandson, brother, nephew, and friend.</p><p><br></p><p>James was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Gerald Dobbs.</p><p><br></p><p>James is survived by his parents, David Dobbs of Pea Patch, VA, Amy and Greg Bennett of Kershaw, SC; sisters Emily Higgins and husband Tyler of Lancaster, SC, Allie Bennett of the home; brothers Luke Bennett of the home, Alex Dobbs of Richlands, VA; maternal grandparents James and Edna Riffe of the Compton Mountain section of Buchanan County, VA; paternal grandmother Carol Dobbs of White Mountain, VA; maternal great-grandmother Janice Rowe and the late Junior Rowe of Rock Ridge, WV; special aunts Alyson Daniels, and Mandy Collins; and several friends.</p><p><br></p><p>A Memorial Service for James Arron Dobbs will be held at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home Chapel of Keen Mountain, VA, Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 12:00 noon with special singers and Evangelist Tommy Jenks officiating.</p><p><br></p><p>The service will be Live Streamed on the funeral home’s Facebook page.</p><p><br></p><p>Online condolences may be sent to www.shortridgeramey.com.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>Obituary
