Virginia "Ginnie" Jamison

<p>VIRGINIA “Ginnie” M. JAMISON, 65, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Saturday,</p><p>March 11, 2023, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Twp., NJ. She was born in Newark, NJ, and has resided in Jackson, Twp., for many years.</p><p>Ginnie was employed as the Office Manager for the Jackson Township Board of Fire</p><p>Commissioners, District 2, in Jackson, Twp., for 35 years, before her retirement in 2019.</p><p>She was a member of the Ocean County Competition Riders and a life member of the American Motorcyclist Assn., Cassville Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a Crew Woman with the NJ Forest Fire Service. Ginnie was an amazing cook and a Notre Dame Fighting Irish, New York Yankee, and Giants fan.</p><p>She was predeceased by her parents, James Robert and Alyce Diane Knittel. Virginia is survived by her husband of 31 years, Wallace W. Jamison; her sons, Wallace W. Jamison, Jr., Joshua R. Jamison and his wife, Linda, and Matthew J. Jamison and his wife, Brittany; her daughters, Kelly R. Jamison, and Amanda Rose Proko and her husband, Greg; her grandchildren, Valerie, Matthew, and Carter; and by her dogs, Foster, Roo, and Beau.</p><p>Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 4-8 PM with her</p><p>funeral service at 7:00 PM on Friday, March 17, 2023, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER</p><p>FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Please wear casual clothing with green in honor of Ginnie. A private cremation will follow.
