Betty Jane Spuhler, 88, of Warren, OH passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Trumbull Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 1, 1934, in Salem, OH, the daughter of the late Arthur Bupp and the late Mildred (Wright) Bupp.

Betty was a 1952 graduate of Howland High School. She was employed as a secretary at Ohio Lamp and the church. Betty formerly attended Otterbein United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She also enjoyed cooking, traveling in their motor home, but above all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Bret Adam Spuhler of Warren, OH and Blake Alan Spuhler of Geneva, OH; grandchildren, Chad, Thomas (Jessica), Shane (Nicole), Bridget (Andrew), Bryan (Erika) and Bret (Amy); brother, Heuy (Elizabeth) Fox; and niece, Diane Lennon, whom she helped raise.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Adam Spuhler; and sisters, Kathleen and Joanne.

Services will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Pastor Joan Purnell will officiate.
