RAHOLA, Heikki Raimo - 84, of Windsor, formerly of Summerville, Hants Co., passed away on March 11, 2023, in Halifax. Born on August 20, 1938, in Tampere, Finland, he was the son of the late Oiva and Helvi Rahola.

Heikki was a dedicated hard worker from an early age, helping run the family farm when his father passed away. After he married Ritva in 1963, they moved from Finland to Florida before settling in Canada, where he started his own exterior siding company and enjoyed working in the woods.

Heikki was a kind neighbor and will be dearly missed.

Heikki is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ritva (Aalto); daughters; Rea Rahola-Liukkonen (Raimo Liukkonen) and Sanna Rahola (Doug Drdul); grandchildren; Olli-Pekka, Juna-Matti, and Olki; sister-in-law; Tuula; niece, Niina; and nephew, Jani.

Besides his parents, Heikki was predeceased by his brother Pekka.
