<p>Lawrence Henry “Sonny” Lambert, Jr., 67, of Reedsville, West Virginia, departed this life on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at his home.&nbsp; He was born in Reedsville, June 26, 1955, a son of the late Lawrence Henry and Thelma May (Snyder) Lambert. He is survived by his loving wife Shirley Mae (White) Lambert.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>Sonny worked as a coal miner in the Martika Mines for many years.&nbsp;&nbsp; He never met a stranger and loved to watch NASCAR.&nbsp; He also enjoyed watching old westerns, listening to country music and going to karaoke.&nbsp; </p><p>Sonny is survived by two sons: Stephen Lawrence Lambert and wife Ashley&nbsp;of Grafton, and Joshua Curtis Lambert of Reedsville; one daughter: Tina White and husband Todd of Kentucky; two sisters: Rhonda Rohr and husband Harry Jr. of Morgantown, and Norma Goldsborough and husband Dave of Reedsville; and five grandchildren: Rylen, Tyler, Bethany, Courtney and Christian.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Melvin and Joe Michael Lambert, and two sisters: Evelyn Lambert and Barbara Long.&nbsp; </p><p>Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home, 13411 Veterans Memorial Highway, Reedsville on Tuesday, March 14 from 4 – 8pm.&nbsp; A Memorial Service&nbsp;at the Reedsville Volunteer Fire Department Social Hall&nbsp;will be held on Wednesday, March 15&nbsp; at 11am with the Reverend Tim Turner officiating. A fellowship&nbsp;covered dish dinner will follow. Sonny’s ashes will be interred at Pleasant Grove Cemetery at a later date.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted to help with funeral expenses.
