<p>NORTH EASTON - Arthur Z. Hovagimian, 84, a longtime resident of North Easton, MA, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2023, surrounded by his family.</p><p><br></p><p>Arthur was born to James and Grace Hovagimian on July 21, 1938 in New York, NY. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara (née Briggs), his son Michael (Mary) Hovagimian, his granddaughter Elizabeth-Ann (Dustin) Weeks, his siblings James Hovagimian and Ellisa (Mahmoud) Fraihat, great-grandsons Lino, Dallas, Gage, and Fisher, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Arthur was predeceased by his son Dan Gould and his brother Charles Hovagimian.</p><p><br></p><p>An accomplished businessman, Arthur owned and operated Oxford Cleaners and Tailors in North Easton for over 50 years. He enjoyed spending his working days getting to know each of his customers and valued providing personal service. Arthur was a skilled trap shooter, travelling the country with Barbara to attend many competitions. A highlight of Arthur’s shooting career was winning the Grand American Trap Shooting Championship, after which he was honored by being on the cover of Trap and Field Magazine. Arthur also enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles and spending his winters soaking up the sun at his second home in Florida. His loved ones will remember him as a dedicated, hard-working patriarch with an unwavering commitment to his family.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will hold a private service.
