Michael James Collins
<p>Michael James Collins went to our Lord Jesus and the Blessed Mother on March 7, 2023. He was born in the copper mining town of Anaconda, Montana. He served in the US Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. From 1961 to 1965 he began his teaching career in Germany on the Navy base in Wiesbaden. He continued teaching and counseling at Pasadena High School. In his retirement he explored and traveled the world. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hiker. He is survived by his loving wife Theresa who will miss his twinkling blue eyes and love, his stepchildren Gina and Joseph and brother-in-law John. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 21 from 2:00-6:00pm with the Rosary at 4:00pm at McNerney's Mortuary Chapel, the Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 10:30am at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
