Sorry to hear of Roger's death. He probably didn't think to highly of me as I was a wild kid back when he was on the force. But I always liked him. My heart felt condolence to the family.

To the Gwaltney family

I had the privilege of serving alongside Roger. He was always an Officer and a gentleman. Always a firm handshake and a kind word; a humble man, good Trooper and a great American. My deepest sympathy to all.

To the Gwaltney Family:
Roger excelled as a RI State Trooper. He was a quiet, gentle man who enjoyed the humor of life (his laugh was contagious) and was always held in high regard.

A life well lived Roger... Rest in Peace.
