<p>Mr. Fred Blocker, 85, of Connellsville, PA departed this life on March 10, 2023. He was born August 21, 1937 in Connellsville, PA. Survivors include his wife Patricia, of Connellsville, PA. A daughter, Lisa Truxel (Tim) of Vidalia, GA and son, Chris Blocker (Tamara) of Johnson City, TN. Survivors also include his stepson, Bobby Shultz (Cindy), Greensburg, PA, stepdaughter Tawnya Osborne (Rob), Las Vegas, NV, and stepdaughter Marcia Miller (Bobby, deceased), Connellsville, PA. Fred was blessed to have numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren that he cherished spending time with. Fred was also survived by PZ, his beloved family pet whom he took everywhere and was with him until the end. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, James and Elizabeth Blocker, son David Blocker, and Brothers Jim, Jack and Bob Blocker. Fred spent his life setting a great example for his children and anyone who knew him on how to be a great father, husband and friend to anyone he met. Throughout his life, Fred had a strong love of motorcycles and rode them as often as he could while participating in poker runs and other charity rides. Fred started his life in Connellsville, PA then moved to Titusville, FL, Lewisville, NC and finally came home to Connellsville in 2018 where he was able to spend time with his best friend Glenn Brooks and wife Karen. Fred’s impact and influence will have a lasting effect for generations, and he will be missed by all who were privileged to know him. As per the wishes of Fred there will no public viewing or services. All arrangements are under the direction of the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville.
