Josephine "Josie" Martin Conley, age 74 passed from this life on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Josie was born Tuesday, November 2, 1948 in Van Buren County, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Martin and the late Luedean Sullivan Martin.

Josie is survived by her;

son - William Andrew Conley

daughter - Sherrilyn "Sissy" Davis and husband Randy of Spencer

3 grandsons - Bubba, and John John Davis, and Timothy Conley

3 granddaughters - Brittany Simmons and husband Eddie, Lashay Watson and husband Michael, and Kendra Conley

16 great grandchildren

5 sisters - Nell Brown, Judy Denney, Charlotte Hillis and husband Hugh, Peggy Rigsby, and Rella McCoy and husband Brad all of Spencer

several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

In addition to her parents Josie was preceded in death by her husband William "Coy" Conley, daughter Bridget Sherrell Harvey, brother Freddie Martin, great granddaughters Makensie Davis and Zaylee Watson, and a great grandson Korbyn John Lee Davis, brother-in-laws Kenneth Denney, Bruce Rigsby and Edgar Conley and a sister-in-law Louise Woody.

A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Spencer Funeral Home with Wayne Sullivan, Denton Martin, and Johnathan Hankins officiating. Interment will be in Martin Cemetery, Spencer, TN.

The family will receive friends from 4-9 PM on Thursday, March 2, 2023 and again 9 AM to 1 PM on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
