Anne Patrice Nichols, age 68, of DeSoto, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at her home. She was born July 30, 1954 in Springfield, Illinois the daughter of Patricia (nee Hodgen) Irwin of Pleasant Plains, Illinois, and the late Arthur Clyde Irwin, Jr.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Richard Nichols; daughters Erica (Walter) Cook of Des Moines, Iowa, and Marla (Robert) Tebbenkamp of Alma, Missouri; sons Ryan (Christina) Nichols of Kansas City, Missouri, Todd Nichols of Anchorage, Alaska, Luke Nichols of Pleasant Hills, Missouri, Raymond (Tiffany) Pool of DeSoto, Missouri, and Mark (Megan) Nichols of Topeka, Kansas; sisters Betsy Irwin of Pleasant Plains, Illinois, Sarah Bachmann of Pleasant Plains; brothers Tom Irwin of Pleasant Plains, and Joe Irwin of Pleasant Plains; grandchildren Jason Tebbenkamp, Tyler Tebbenkamp, Grace Cook, Roman Nichols, James Nichols, Riker Nichols, Lydia Nichols, Gabriel Nichols, Talion Nichols, Titus Nichols, Emmanuel Pool, Ezekiel Pool, Gabriel Pool and Charlotte Pool; and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Anne was a retired Registered Nurse from St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois with 15 years experience, and a devoted member of Zion Lutheran Church in Pevely, Missouri where she played the organ for over 15 years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all.

Visitation Saturday March 4, 2023 at Zion Lutheran Church in Pevely, from 10:00 AM until the time of funeral services at 12:00 Noon, officiated by Pastor Bryan Roberts. Interment at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Pevely. Memorials in her memory are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church, 310 Central Ave, Pevely, MO 63070.
