<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; EUNICE~With great sadness and the heaviest of hearts the family would like to announce the passing of a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, Judson Ardoin on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at the Acadiana Medical Center in Eunice with his loving family by his side at the age of 94. A Celebration of life will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Eunice.&nbsp;Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Pastor Brent Shoalmire, Officiating. </p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Judson was born on April 09, 1928, in Eunice to the Noah and Aline Prejean Ardoin. He served his country proudly in the United States Army in the Korean War. He was the owner of Ardoin’s Marble Works and Mt. Calvary until he retired at the age of eighty-seven. He was also a member and usher of the First Baptist Church in Eunice. He enjoyed cutting his grass but most of all of he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his loving wife of fifty- nine years, Vergie Y. Ardoin of Eunice, two daughters, Monica A. Hebert and husband, Tony of Eunice and Simone A. Dupre and husband, Todd of Eunice; his five grandchildren, Brittany H. Vidrine and husband, Ben, Katelyn H. Ramirez and husband, Stephen, Chase Dupre and wife, Sadie, Sydnie D. Richard and husband, Cade and Gavin Dupre; four great grandchildren, Bodhi and Bailey Vidrine, Vivienne and Valerie Ramirez and Baby Dupre on the way. </p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He is preceded in death by his father, Noah Ardoin and mother, Aline Johnson; stepfather, Kelly Johnson; siblings Nolia Fruge, Mary Lou Fontenot and Nellie Grace Fruge. </p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, February 22nd from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Thursday, February 23rd from 9:30 am until time of services.
