<p>William Jeffery Spearman, 65, passed away February 6, 2023 at Alaska Regional Hospital, Anchorage from complications from the incurable Lyme Disease.</p><p>Services will be held from 9 am to 12 pm on Saturday February 18, 2023 at the Cremation Society of Alaska, 1306 E 74th Avenue. Pastor Jack Phelps will officiate.</p><p>Bill was born October 29, 1957 in Bloomington, Illinois to Richard and Elizabeth (Bock) Spearman. He furthered his education, earning his bachelor degree at Iowa State University in Ames, IA where he served in the ROTC. He later earned his master degree in commercial fisheries from Texas A&amp;M. Mr. Spearman honorably served in the U.S. Army as a Captain in the Signal Corps at Ft Richardson, here in Alaska. Bill worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services for 30 years.</p><p>Bill loved caring for his horse, Little Bit and dreamed of being a cowboy. He enjoyed being out in nature- fishing and hunting. He loved to read books, learning new things all the time. He would educate people about lyme disease.</p><p>He is survived by his daughter, Amy Spearman, Anchorage; his mother, Elizabeth Spearman, Marion, IA; his sister, Jean Larson, Iowa and three nieces, Lindsay, Hillary and Kelly, all of Iowa.</p><p>Bill is preceded in death by his father, Richard Spearman.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
