Daniel Richard Hurley “Baby Dan”, age 40 of Pittsburgh

On Sunday February 12th, 2023, God called upon Danny to walk alongside of him and to a final rest.

Danny spent his childhood years surrounded by a community of family and friends in the McKees Rock’s O.V.A and his teen years in McKees Rock’s West Park.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra Novak. Beyond loved by his sister, Sarah Rose Novak and brother George Wesley Hazlet. Son, Elijah Lopez. Danny leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Danny was preceded in death by the late Daniel Hurley Senior.

Danny had big energy and heart. His courage and fearlessness carried him through many tough years. He loved his family and especially his nieces and nephews, bonding quickly and fulfilling “fun uncle” in every sense of the word.

Family and friends are welcome Saturday, February 18th, 2023, 3-6pm at the Szal Funeral Home Inc.
