It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of

Eric John Ketchin at the age of 78 years. Eric passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 1, 2023 at Hospice Wellington, after a short battle with Mesothelioma. Eric was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on July 4, 1944, and immigrated to Canada with his wife Joyce, and son Neil in 1971.

Eric was a Master Electrician by trade, retiring at the age of 65.

He loved Golf, Darts and Snooker, and volunteered his time at the Streetsville and Acton Legion receiving an Honorary Lifetime membership for his contributions.

Eric will be fondly remembered by the love of his life Joyce (Kerr),

his loving son Neil (Julie) and beloved grandson Andrew.

Predeceased by his parents Fred and Jenny, and his brother Ian.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cutten Fields, 190 College Ave.,E, Guelph,

on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 2pm-4pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Wellington in Erics name

would be greatly appreciated.

Interment will take place at Churchill Cemetery in the spring.
