Obituary

Nicholas Lee Lyons of Fort Worth, Texas passed away March 6, 2021.

Memorial Service: 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Biggers Funeral Chapel

Nicholas (Nick) was born December 28, 1979 to Donny Ray and Leslie (York) Lyons in Arlington, Texas.

Nick was hilarious and bold, some would say a little too bold at times, but always up for an adventure, which may or may not end with stitches and splints.

He loved his family and loved cooking his hotter than hell chili to share when we gathered in July and December, no matter.  He loved life and made life fun.  Nick loved his crazy cats, Little Man, Milo, and Maylee’s bunny, Sir Hopsalot.  Those who knew him well have their own adjectives to describe the man he was.  The man they treasure.  The man who left wonderful memories and laughter in his wake.  The irreplaceable and irresistible charmer.  That was our Nick.

He is survived by his wife, Tabitha Chase Lyons; his beloved daughters, Randee Renee Lyons, Maylee Nicole Lyons and Alexa Robertson; brother, Donny Ray Lyons, Jr. and wife Elizabeth; parents, Donny and Leslie Lyons; most precious grandmother, Connie Louise Howe and husband, Mark; adored grandfather, Larry Jack Lyons and wife, Margaret.  He leaves behind numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and too many friends to be counted.  Each, special to Nick and each with stories of their love and fond memories of life with him.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a monetary gift to Nick’s aunt and uncle’s mission work.  Missionaries Bob and Betty Smith have faithfully and tirelessly served in the mission field for many many years.  P.O. Box 3163, Brownsville, Texas 78523.
