<p>Kenneth Glen Lofto passed away peacefully on January 24, 2023 at Riverview Health Centre, with his family by his side.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his wife Dorothy, sister Thelma Arnal, sons Dale (Deb) and Doug (Joanne), grandchildren Randall (Tamara), Richard (Rita), Christopher (Nicole), Courtney, Sean (Julie), great grandchildren Tessa, Kacey, Charlotte, Kolton, Lyla and Lennon, sister-in-law Connie Lofto and many nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>He is predeceased by his parents Ted and Florence Lofto, stepfather Alex Trottier, brother Gordon, sister Vera Broten and her husband Warren and brother-in-law Maurice Arnal.</p><p><br></p><p>Ken was born in Starbuck, Manitoba on December 11, 1937 and was raised on the family farm near Fannystelle, Manitoba. He was employed at Best Beef for several years and then went on to work for and retire from Winnipeg Transit.</p><p><br></p><p>Earlier years were spent camping at Brereton Lake and later a cottage at Albert Beach, where he enjoyed wood working, gardening and nature.</p><p><br></p><p>Ken loved travelling, embarking on cruises, and spending winters in Arizona. He also enjoyed participating in a floor curling league, socializing, and was an avid card player. </p><p><br></p><p>The family wishes to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion.</p><p><br></p><p>Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on May 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Coutu Funeral Home, located at 680 Archibald Street.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>.</p>
