Mrs. Daris Hayes, age 86 of Fayette, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 27, 2023 at 1-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12-1 P.M. at the funeral home.

Survivors include a son: Ricky Hayes (Joyce) of Fayette, daughter: Deanne Vice Graham (Jarrod) of Fayette, daughter-in-law: Debbie "Lulu" of Palmetto, sister: Linda Edwards of Fayette, 18 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Jessie Thermon Hayes, mother: Jimmie Nell Graves, father: Murray A. Graves, son: Randy Hayes, and brother: J.W.Graves.

Pallbearers will be: Casey Hayes, Bryan Hayes, Trent Vice, David Edwards, Marshal Graham,  and Justin Hildreth.
