Dansville - Donald C. Bolles, 87, formerly of Great Valley, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023 under the care of Suzanne’s Comfort Care Home in Perry, NY. Don was born on March 19, 1935 in Salamanca, son of the late Lloyd and Josephine (Ludwig) Bolles.

On August 18, 1956, he married the former Rose Arena, who survives. For forty years, Don operated his dairy farm in Great Valley. Don was a member of Agway, and he also spent time on the FHA board.

Besides his loving wife, Don is survived by his 3 daughters; Cheryl (Kevin) Gray of Dansville, Laurie (Chris) Tracey of Jamestown, and Tamara (Ronald) Anderson of North Ogden, UT. Also surviving is a brother, Steve (Marion) Bolles of Allegany, and four grandchildren; David (Stephany Anderson) Tracey, Megan Tracey, Cameron (Courtney) Anderson, and Aaron (Hannah Kidd) Anderson, as well as two great-grandchildren, Max and Marley Anderson, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Don is predeceased by three brothers; Lloyd Robert, Richard, and Gordon Bolles, his step-mother; Beatrice, and two step-brothers; Warren and Richard Shaner.

Friends may call on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 12 pm Noon to 2 pm at Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 411 Rock City St. in Little Valley. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Willoughby Cemetery.
