<p>Roger D. Neigbauer, age 67, of Stevens Point, WI died on Monday, January 23, 2023.</p><p><br></p><p>He was born on July 1, 1955, to the late Donald and Genevieve (Marquard) Neigbauer in Stevens Point, WI. Roger grew up in the area, attended St Paul Grade School, PJ Jacobs, and graduated from SPASH.</p><p><br></p><p>In his earlier years, Roger worked for several local businesses until joining the U.S. Air Force. He was inducted on May 31, 1979 and was honorably discharged on March 31, 1993. During his time of service, Roger earned a Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Rbn, National Defense Service MDL, Overseas Service Long Tour Rbn, Southwest Asia Service Mdl, Longevity Service Mdl, Outstanding Unit Awd, and Good Conduct Mdl. Roger also served an additional three-year tour during Operation Desert Storm/Shield and was honorably discharged.</p><p><br></p><p>Roger returned to the Stevens Point area and worked for Joerns Healthcare and RR Donnelley until retiring.</p><p><br></p><p>In his spare time, he enjoyed building model planes, solving puzzles, cheering on the Packers, and crafting ornaments. He was an avid collector of Archie comic books. Roger also liked family outings and holiday get-togethers.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include his siblings, Jean Ann (Mark) Milbee, Gary Neigbauer, and William (Jeanne Zalewski) Neigbauer; nephews, Cal Neigbauer, Ryan (Louis Losbanos) Neigbauer, Justin (Nicole) Steltenpohl; nieces, Katey (Rahim Matthews) Neigbauer and Carrie (Marty) Skie; and extended relatives and friends.</p><p></p><p><br></p><p>A service to celebrate his life, with full military honors, will be held later this spring.<br></p>
