<p>GOYETTE, Victor Louis III - Age 83, of Flushing, passed away Monday, January 23, 2023.&nbsp; Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, January 27, 2023 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2319 Bagley St. Flint.&nbsp; Fr. Thomas Firestone celebrant.&nbsp; Entombment in the Mausoleum at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Flint.&nbsp; Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek Thursday from 4-8 PM where a Rosary will be prayed at 7 PM and visitation at Church Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>Victor was born December 7, 1939 in Flint, the son of Victor Louis, Jr. and Leona May (Bowman) Goyette.&nbsp; He was a graduate of St. Michael Catholic High School in Flint and he received an Associates Degree from Flint Junior College (Mott Community College).&nbsp; He married Roxanne "Cindy" Worges May 8, 1965 and she preceded him in death July 18, 1995; he married Nancy Sue Dunn October 25, 2008 in Flint.&nbsp; He had resided in Flushing for over 50 years.&nbsp; Victor retired in 2000 From GM Truck and Bus as a Tool Maker.&nbsp; He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Flint.&nbsp; He also was a member of the Knight of Columbus Council 8489 and the U.A.W. Local 598.&nbsp; He enjoyed golfing and bowling and he was a huge University of Michigan Fan.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>Surviving are: his wife, Nancy; children, Mark (Lori) Goyette of Tennessee, Laura Goyette of Flint, Lisa (Steve) Fougnie of Rochester Hills, and Wendy (Steve) Brown of Davison; step children, Heather Francis of Flint, Lisa (Burl) Shaw of Flint, Andrea (Jason) Aldridge of Flushing and Emily Roye of Bellaire; 19 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; sister, Grace Goyette of Flushing.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>He was also preceded in death by his parents; and brother, David Goyette.&nbsp; Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br> Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.&nbsp; </p>

Vic was my brother in law and the time I spent in Michigan he made sure I had some good memories to take back to Washington with me. He was a kind and caring man and I will always remember that. So long Vic!
