Loretta C. Czarnecki

<p>Loretta C. (Hafler) Czarnecki, 85, of Boyertown, PA, passed away on January 23, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of Richard A. Czarnecki, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Born in Allentown, PA, on June 12, 1937, Loretta was the daughter of the late Constant and Mary (Cichello) Hafler. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Loretta worked as a teacher’s aide for New Hanover-Upper Frederick Elementary School, until her retirement in 2007. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Ladies Auxiliary of New Hanover Township Fire Company, and spent many years volunteering for Meals on Wheels. Loretta enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafting, and cheering for the Phillies and Eagles. Most of all, Loretta loved the time she spent taking care of her family, especially through her yummy cooking and baking. She was a loving “mom” to everyone around her, and she will be deeply missed!</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her husband, Loretta is lovingly remembered by her sons, David (&amp; Debra Raines) Czarnecki and James (&amp; Lynn) Czarnecki; and her grandchildren, Jillian Czarnecki, Cassady Czarnecki, and Samantha (&amp; Kevin) Petrus. In addition to her parents, Loretta was predeceased by her sisters, Carmela Hanzlik and Ruth Cougle.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>A viewing will take place on January 28, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Houck &amp; Gofus Funeral Home &amp; Cremation Services, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464.
