Bailey, Marion Elizabeth (Nee: Burgess)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday January 20th, 2023, in her 90th year.  Devoted wife of Stanley for 72 years. Loving mother of Karen (Jim) Creighton, Wayne (Pat – Deceased), and Bev (Greg) Catherwood. Loving Nana to Michael, Shawna (Jason), Courtney (Jamie), Charlene (Jeremy), Josh (Andrea), Breanne (Jeff), Daniel (Sarah), Brett (Jayme). Great Nana to Leah, Kiera, Grainger, Erin, Ava, Megan, Monty, Callum, Finn, Brynley, Bryce, Layla, Nathan, Jack and Noah. Marion is predeceased by her parents, Harry and Mable, her brother Jack (Lorraine) and her Great Granddaughter Madeline.

Private family service Friday January 27,2023.

Final resting place Sunderland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation.

The family would like to thank the staff at Country Estates, especially Catherine and Gwen for their care over the last 5 years. The family would also like to thank the medical staff at Ross Memorial Hospital for their empathy & compassion during Mum’s final days.
