<p>Born June 10, 1937 in Sacramento, California; passed away peacefully at home on December 13, 2022.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Preceded in death by parents Raymond and Pauline Cavanaugh and brother Michael Cavanaugh. Survived by husband Ron Derobertis, daughters Angela Derobertis Howe (Myron IV) and Reneè Derobertis and son Gino Derobertis; grandchildren Theresa Howe, Myron Howe V, Paige Derobertis Pierce-pique (Oriel), Summer Derobertis Graves (Zac), Carey Derobertis, Ashley Willgrubs and Matthew Willgrubs, and great granddaughter Maisie Pierce-Pique. Pat will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Pat grew up in Sacramento, graduating from Sacramento High School, and attended Sacramento State. She worked at Pacific Bell Telephone Company in the 1950s and left full time employment to become a homemaker after marrying Ron in 1963.</p><p><br></p><p>Pat was an accomplished seamstress, competing and winning both regional and national competitions. Her quilts swept the prizes at the California State Fair for many years. She excelled in the art of cooking and delighted in sharing her creations with her friends and family. Pat was a talented bridge player, known to be quite the formidable opponent. Her younger cousins considered her glamorous and always vied for the seat next to her at gatherings. She and her husband Ron held season tickets to the 49ers for 44 years, surrendering the seats only when the team left San Francisco. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>More than anything Pat loved her family, enjoying celebrations, and reunions both at home and at the family’s Lake Tahoe cabin. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her gentle ways, the twinkle in her eye and caring words will never be forgotten. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>A funeral mass will be held at St. Ignatius Church in Sacramento on January 26, 2023, at 11:00 am. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Kaiser Hospice, 2025 Morse Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95825, in memory of Pat Derobertis.</p>
