<p>Our beloved husband, devoted father, adoring grandfather, loving brother and uncle passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, September 23, 2016 with loved ones by his side. Dick was a very caring, generous man. He was always willing to help others in need.</p><p><br></p><p>Dick, a native Californian, was born and raised in San Francisco where he grew up in the Mission district and attended St. Peter’s Catholic School. Dick spent 4 years in the US Air Force from 1953-1957 achieving the rank of technical sergeant. Dick retired from the US Postal Service after 25 years of service. He then spent over 10 years as a noon supervisor at George Hall Elementary School. He was an avid sports fan of horse racing, golf, and basketball but most important to him were his beloved 49ers and Giants.</p><p><br></p><p>Dick is survived by his wife, Vera; sons, Michael Gigliello (Tracy), Nathaniel Threets (Enggar), William Stange (Jonalyn) and Daughter Seanna Stange (Sean Carreon); grandchildren Anthony, Lindsey, Saydee and Shayna; brother Ken Stange (Diane) and sister Joy McDaniel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
