Frances V. Jefferson, Age 70, of Woodbine New Jersey, passed away Friday January 20th, 2023. She was born July 19, 1952 in Clinton, New Jersey; a daughter of the late Corrine and Herbert Hamilton. Frances was always intellectually ahead of her time and a forward thinker. She was the person you went to if you needed help on anything. She had several college degrees in several different fields. She was one of the smartest, funniest, kindest persons you would ever meet. Her big smile was contagious. She loved to dance, sing, and just bring the good energy into the rooms; especially the ones that needed it.

Frances was predeceased by her son Damian Fashaw, husband Ronald Jefferson, sisters Arelene Waddell, Dolores Branch, Cozy Carter, Ave Freeman; and brother Edward Dorsey.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Derek Dorsey; grandchildren: Derek Dorsey Jr., Mercedes Dorsey, Alexus Fashaw, Kris Holton, Camryn Fashaw, and Bobbi Jada Fashaw; four sisters: Emily Curtis, Patricia Mincey, Christine Waddell, and Loretta Cisse; two special Daughters-in-Law: Tiffany Fashaw and Pamela Dorsey; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many more relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Horne's Temple Lighthouse,215 Washington Ave, Woodbine, NJ 08270. Viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Service will start at 11 a.m. Frances family will serve as pallbearers.
