Hattie Margaret Bradford Obituary

 

Hattie Margaret Carter Bradford passed from death to life on January 13, 2023, at the age of 90 and½ years old.   She is absent from the body and present with the Lord.  She is a member of First Baptist Church. Morristown, Tennessee. 

She was preceded in death by her mother and father Murrell and Annie Carter; sister, Jean Anne Carter; brothers and sisters in law, Willard and Edna Carter, Lynn and Mary Jane Carter; husband,  Don Bradford, Jr, and daughter in law Elizabeth Bradford. 

Margaret is survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; children of her brother, Willard Carter, and sister-in-law Joann Weaver; Debbie and Dave Lindeman (Kate and Jeff Oatney, and Maddie and Mason Oatney) (Megan and Scott Thompson, Lucy Grace Thompson);Donnie and Wendy Bradford (Hunter and Tyler Baker, Hattie Marie and Bradford Wayne Baker),  (Fletcher and Laura Bradford, Bella and Madalyn Bradford), (Alex and Eve Bradford) (Hattie Margaret Bradford); Richard and Marsha Bradford (Carter Bradford) (Jodi Lane and Mark Gilbert, Margaret Ann and Henry Carter Bradford), (Bailey Ann Bradford), (John Bradford), and Bo Bradford; Sherry Campbell Clarke and Steve Clarke (Bradford and Morgan Campbell),  (Johnathon Campbell),  (Shannon Clarke), (Connor Clarke); Karen Bradford (Shawnee Casteel), (Avy Scott, Nevaeh. Kingston and Keira), (Marcie Campbell, Dustin Campbell, Sid Campbell, Thomas Blank, Thomas Blank, Jr.).

Margaret spent her last days at home comfortable and happy with her family. She is greatly missed by all.

There are no words that can thank Arlene Lawson for the care and love she has given Margaret and Bo over the last 18 years. She is unmatched by any. Thank you Arlene. We love you! 

We also had the privilege of Pat Rice and Rosie Young caring for Margaret as if she were their own mother. We cannot express how thankful to God and to you for your tender care. We love you! 

Forever grateful to granddaughter Shawnee Leigh Casteel who cared for her grandmother relentlessly day and night. She loved her Grammy! Thank you Shawnee. We love you!

Services for Margaret will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, February 4, 2023, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  Flowers are appreciated and donations can be made to mhcentralservices.org, one of  Margaret's favorite community non profit organizations.
