Ann Ray peacefully passed away on January 19, 2023, at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maude Powell and Robert Price; brother, Dr. Robert Price. Ann grew up in Tampa, Florida and loved the sunshine and warmth but took quickly to the people and the mountains of East Tennessee where she lived for the past 45 years. She was an avid golfer, horsewoman, hiker, and bridge player. She was part of the larger Alcoan community, moving frequently and making friends all over the world.

She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Richard Ray; sons, David and Daniel Ray, her beloved grandchildren, Sarah, Michael, Minta, and Austin Ray.

Memorial services will be held at the New Providence Presbyterian Church on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Dr. Emily Anderson officiating.
