Mr. Ricky Locklair, 70 years old, of Clover, SC, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

Mr. Locklair was born on September 7, 1952 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Jennie Smith and Oscar Locklair Jr.

Ricky will be greatly missed by his wife, Deborah Locklair, daughter, Alicia and her husband, Will; granddaughter, Makayla Volpe; sisters, Angie Plaisted and Trudy Penley; son, Dean Rowlette, and a special added son, Andrew Volpe.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donnie Locklair and Jeff Lingerfelt,

Ricky was a Good ol Country boy who loved God, family, and friends. He was kind, devoted, and supportive husband who was always willing to help others. He loved camping and teaching his daughter and granddaughter about hunting and fishing. One of his highlights of the day was playing ball or baby dolls with his granddaughter.

A visitation with the family will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 3:00pm at Lake Wylie Christian Assembly church, 5766 Charlotte Hwy, Lake Wylie, SC, 29710. A celebration of life will immediately follow at 3:30pm.
