Nekaybaw Iyona Collier Moore Obituary

Nekaybaw Iyona Collier Moore, 27, of Orlando Florida, was painfully taken from us on January 12, 2023.

Nekaybaw was born in Cape May Court House, New Jersey to Eugene Collier and Deshema Bond and grew up in different states including Philadelphia, New York, and Delaware.

Later, she moved to Orlando, Florida where she met her husband, Kevin. They established a friendship that turned into a beautiful love story over 8 years ago, which led them to start a family of their own. Some of her greatest joy in life came from her two daughters Aoki and Alani. With her family, she enjoyed traveling, especially to visit family, as well as cooking. She took pleasure in learning new languages and studying in business analysis.

Nekaybaw treasured her trips with Kevin to Philadelphia, New York, Georgia, and Key West. With Kevin, she enjoyed working out, trying new foods, and going on adventures. One of her goals was to travel to Paris, France for her 30th birthday. She even changed her Facebook profile to “Lives in Paris, France” to manifest her dreams!

Nekaybaw was never scared to take on new opportunities and did everything with honesty and integrity. She had very strong values and was well loved by everyone, mostly due to her positive energy. Nekaybaw had incredible patience, and always made time to help others. She often would say it all comes back to us.

Her legacy will carry on forever, reminding us that we control our attitudes. We choose to live a life of meaningful acts of love and service, like Christ modeled for us.

Nekaybaw was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, colleague, and friend. She touched the lives of so many people. She will truly be missed and will never, ever, be forgotten.

Nekaybaw is survived and missed by her loving husband, Kevin Moore and her daughters, Aoki, and Alani. Forever cherished and remembered by her mother, Deshema McCoy, her father Eugene Collier, her stepfather, Roscoe Bond, Her mother and father in love Nigel and Anicka Moore, and her siblings and their families; Eugene Collier, III, Amber Jackson, Tasha Collier, Ishina McCoy, Quiazm Collier, Zakar Collier, Khaleem Collier, Bakir Collier, Nehemiah Collier and Kayla Brandenburg, her brothers and sisters in love, Jonathan and Aubree Moore, Arianna Moore, Ruth Shakespeare, Kristen Eliza and Tecia Robb.

Her memory will be cherished by her maternal grandparents, Lorraine and Matthew McCoy, as well as her paternal uncles, Al Rahman Coleman and Sean Collier, and her aunts, Nina Collier, Lachante Collier, and Renique Collier. Especially missed by her great uncle, Mario Coleman; and many more aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her memory lives on with her nieces and nephews; Zy’yianna, Zaakirah, Zira, Zylah, Adrian, Savanna, Victory, Takir, Queen, Skyler, Kayden, Kiowa and another niece and nephew on the way.
