<p>Judith Ann Bowins, 77, of Accident, MD, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 13, 2023, at Garrett Regional Medical Center, Oakland, MD.</p><p><br></p><p>Judith was born on November 24, 1945, in Frostburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Woodrow and Virginia Helen (Witt) Paul. She was also preceded in death by her husband of many years, Donald Bowins; three brothers, Jim, Roddy and Ray Paul; and by one sister, Kay Paul.</p><p><br></p><p>Judith was raised in Grantsville, MD. She enjoyed collecting angels, teapots and peacocks. In her spare-time she watched birds and bake treats for her family and friends. Judith was also known for her sweet tea. She dearly loved her family; one of her favorite things in life was entertaining her family and friends</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by three daughters, Cindy J. Freeman and husband, Tony, Accident; V. Kay Rolon and husband, Luis, Abingdon, MD; Deb Lynch and husband, Joe, San Antonio, TX; one son, John M. England and wife, Leslie, Junior, WV; two sisters, Terri Paul, Bruceton Mills, WV; Gail Spiker and husband, Jim, Friendsville, MD; 10 grandchildren; Jeff Biggus and wife, Jessica, Frederick, MD; Angie Simmons and husband, Neal, Joppa, MD; Stephen Shriner, Charlottesville, VA; Dylan England and fiancé, Wendy, Philippi, WV; Philip Schmidt and wife, Yasmen, Frederick; Nicky Hardy and fiancé, Tyler, Adamstown, MD; Kenzie England and fiancé, Brent, Clarksburg, WV; Sara Scholl and husband, Josh, Frederick; James Freeman, Hagerstown, MD; Will Freeman, Portland, IN and many grandchildren in Indiana; numerous great-grandchildren; and her best friend, Shirley Smith, Frederick.</p><p><br></p><p>At Judith’s request she will be cremated and laid to rest next to her husband at RestHaven Cemetery, Frederick.
