Joesie Faye Hickman-Pecina, age 55, of Speedwell TN, passed away at her home November 9, 2017. She was born December 9th 1962. She is the daughter of the late Rosetta Carroll Williams and Charles Rhymer who survives. Joesie spent her life as a mother, wife, homemaker, grandmother and surgical tech. She was a God- loving woman. She enjoyed cooking, interior decorating, and gardening. She also enjoyed spending time with family that she cherished. She was preceded in death by her mother Rosetta Carroll Williams; grandmothers: Millie Faye Hoskins and Jesse Lee Carroll; her aunt Della Hoskins and special friend, John Asher, Sr. Joesie is survived by her husband, “Al” Silvestre Pecina; her son, Benjamin Andrew Hickman III and his wife Amy, daughter, Megan Ashley Hickman and son, Jackson Blake Hickman; grandchildren: Victoria Paige Fuson, Aubrey Grace Fuson, and Baylee Alissa Hickman; father, Charles Rhymer (Lisa); and sister, Glenda (Joe) Rhymer Mitchell. Funeral service will be conducted 7 p.m., Tuesday November 14, 2017 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Bannister officiating. Music will be provided by Linda and Terry Leach. Graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Green Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Shumate Funeral Home. Honorary Pallbearers will be Justin Emmett, Eric Hoskins, Billy Hickman, Brandon Hyden, Ernie Carroll, Bub Brooks, and Kevin Rich.
