Funeral services for Mrs. Larue W. Mulkey, 79, of Jacksonville, will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service in Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Mulkey was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Gloys Taylor Willoughby; and two brothers, Thurman Willoughby, Sr. and Jesse Ray Willoughby.

Left to cherish the memory of Mrs. Mulkey are her husband, Stanley Mulkey; nieces and nephews, Sandra Camp, Thurman Willoughby, Jr., Richard Willoughby, Ruby Layton, Christy Van Valkenburg, William Willoughby, Joseph Willoughby, and Candace Willoughby; and her fur baby, Molly.

Mrs. Mulkey was a native of Dekalb County, Alabama but lived most of her life in Calhoun County. She retired from New Flyer after many years. Mrs. Mulkey was a loving wife, adored aunt, and wonderful friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pallbearers will be Thurman Willoughby, Jr., Chris Brown, Kevin Smith, David Pope, Ryan Wells, and Johnny Woodruff.
