Juana V. Armendariz, age 90, of Hacienda de Orientales, Manuel Benavides, Chihuahua passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023 in Alpine, Texas.   Juana was born February 8,1932 to Angel Vazquez and Manuela Bustamante in  Hacienda de Orientales, Chihuahua Mexico.  She was married to Concepcion Armendariz and was the mother of Luis Aranda (Lucy Aranda), Elvia Sandate (Martin Sandate) , Concepcion Armendariz Jr, Angel Manuel Armendariz and Jose de la Cruz Armendariz.  She also had 9 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.  After marriage she settled in Manuel Benavides, Chihuahua.  

She is preceded in death by her parents,   various siblings,  grandson Aquiles Gonzales, son Jose de la Cruz Armendariz, and her beloved husband Concepcion (Chon) Armendariz.  

Juanita was very dedicated to serving the Lord.  She was full of joy with a huge smile on her face and was always singing.  She was also very dedicated to her family that included grandchildren, great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.   She enjoyed baking and knitting.  She also enjoyed her time outdoors planting and going on walks.  

Juana V. Armendariz funeral service will be held at Alpine Memorial Funeral Home, 209 W. Sul Ross, Alpine, TX  79830 at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023 with burial at Holy Angels Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the funeral home starting at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday January 13, 2023.
