<p>Jenson James Phipps was born on November 17, 2000, in Atlanta, Georgia. He passed away on January 4, 2023, in Rockwall, Texas. </p><p>He was always a happy and outgoing child. His grandmother would always say "Jenson never met a stranger!" because he immediately made friends with anyone he met.&nbsp;<br> Jenson was a self-taught individual and waited on no one to teach him the things that he was eager to learn. He loved animals and always had pets. He even brought home stray dogs on several occasions. In his early childhood years, he taught himself personal skills and later taught himself to swim, ride a bike, and&nbsp;drive.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>He received Christ at the age of 14 years old when he attended a mission trip in New Mexico with the youth group of&nbsp;New Liberty Baptist Church. He was&nbsp;later baptized.&nbsp; </p><p>Jenson loved music and even started writing his own rap songs. He also enjoyed playing sports and was naturally athletic. He played soccer, tennis, basketball, and baseball. However,&nbsp;football was his favorite sport through high school.&nbsp; </p><p>He was always eager to get through school to start his own business. He started working at an early age trying several jobs which included working at a local pizza shop, a barber shop, and an&nbsp;auto parts shop. He&nbsp;finally found&nbsp;his niche in the carpentry business as a cabinet installer.&nbsp;He was proud of his self-taught skills and started his own business, "J Quality Cabinets".&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>Jenson was an adoring father to his son, Jace, and cherished him daily as he made him a major part of his life.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>Jenson's ambitious, passionate, funny, determined, and athletic nature will always be admired. His loving spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>Those left to cherish lasting memories include his son, Jace Phipps; parents and step-parents - Tamica and Juan Lopez, and James Gathright;&nbsp;grandparents - Kathleen Phipps, and Maria and John Alexander; and his beloved, Denise Lopez. He&nbsp;will also be cherished and missed dearly by his loving and many siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p>

He was always a happy and outgoing child. His grandmother would always say "Jenson never met a stranger!" because he immediately made friends with anyone he met.
