<p>It is with great sadness the family of Michael Wragg, 78, passed. November,3rd, 2015 at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center following a brief illness. </p><p><br></p><p>He leaves,his son; Trevor (Penny) Wragg, his daughter, Kimberley (Jett) Machamer; two granddaughters, Allison and Sabrina; and many friends and family both in Newfoundland and England. </p><p><br></p><p>Born in Church Hill, Somerset, England, and raised in Weston Super Mare, the son of Stuart and Olive (Dobson ) Wragg. </p><p><br></p><p>In his early years, Mr.Wragg joined the British Navy, where he was a Seaman, First Class, he enjoyed his time with them, travelling all over Europe and proudly passing both the Cape of Hope(Africa) and Cape Horn (Chile) </p><p><br></p><p>After serving with the British Navy, Mr. Wragg had the opportunity to join London Life Insurance in London, Ontario. He later resettled in Burin, Port Au Bras and Marystown. For the last two years he has enjoyed his life at Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank. </p><p><br></p><p>Mr. Wragg had a passion for steam engines and trains in general, and was an aid researcher. He contributed to many railway and historical publications. As a wealth of knowledge he most happily shared his information and knowledge with anyone needing help or searching.</p><p><br></p><p>Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Thursday, Nov. 5th 10am-12pm, 2-4pm and 7-9pm. </p><p><br></p><p>Funeral Service to take place from St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Port au Bras Friday, November 6th at 11am with interment following at Anglican Cemetery, Port au Bras. </p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Blue Crest Recreation Fund or St. Andrew's Anglican Church Roof Fund. </p><p><br></p><p>Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.</p>
