Michael James Ziegler

<p>Tecumseh – Michael James Ziegler, age 58, of Tecumseh, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2023, at his home. Mike was born on November 18, 1964, to Alfred and Ruth (Balasa) Ziegler at Fort Benning, GA. He graduated from Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor. Mike was a lifelong handyman and construction worker who could fix just about anything, even if it didn’t need to be fixed. He liked to spend his time hunting and fishing, building models, and riding his motorcycle. Mike also served as a volunteer firefighter with the Sand Lake fire department.</p><p><br></p><p>Left to cherish Mike’s memory is his loving mother, Ruth Ziegler of Tecumseh; daughters, Lindzy (Derick) Ziegler of Tipton and Brittany (Chris) Ziegler of Tipton; brothers, Jeff Ziegler and Cory (Dawn) Ziegler of Dexter; nieces, Rachel Ziegler, Georgia Ziegler and Savannah (John) Roscoe; nephew, Danny (Ella) Ziegler; along with other extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Ziegler.</p><p><br></p><p>No visitation or formal services are planned at this time, cremation will occur.</p><p><br></p><p>You may send condolences to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com Memorial contributions may be made directed to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
