Margaret A. Gaetz, age 79, of Stevens Point, WI died on January 3, 2023.

Margaret was born January 1, 1944 to the late Julius and Regina (Pliska) Marquard in Stevens Point, WI. She grew up in the area, attended the local grade schools, and graduated from PJ Jacobs High School.

She moved to Milwaukee, WI to work for Briggs & Stratton before returning to the Stevens Point area. Margaret became employed with Vetter Window Manufacturing. She worked there for over 36 years until retiring.

Margaret married David Gaetz on May 23, 1964 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.

Margaret will be remembered for her social nature and her gift for conversation. She relished attending family and community events. Margaret specifically enjoyed the company of her family, especially her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed testing her luck at a neighboring casino. Margaret also enjoyed travel, bingo, bowling and dart leagues. She always kept busy and enjoyed being included in any group activity.

Survivors include her children, Jeffery (Michelle) Gaetz and Jacqueline (Robert) Golla; grandchildren, Natania, Samantha (Kris), Luke (Morgan), Josie, and Whitney; 9 great grandchildren; siblings, Richard (Linda) Marquard, Barbara Groshek, Sandy (Randy) Kuklinski, Kathy (Fred) Zblewski, and Kenny (Peggy) Marquard; brother-in-law, Dennis Brillowski; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Gaetz; and sister, Donna Brillowski.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 with an 11:00 a.m. service to commemorate her life at Boston Funeral Home. Traditional interment will take place in St Bartholomew Cemetery, Mill Creek.
