Jan Marie Dombrow, age 65, of Golconda, Illinois passed away on December 31, 2022, at Hardin County General Hospital.

She was born on March 21, 1957, in Covington, Kentucky to Harold and Audrey (Markesbery) Presser. Jan had earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She retired from Hardin County General Hospital as the Utilization Review/Risk Management Coordinator after forty-four years of nursing. Jan enjoyed playing cards, games, and outdoor activities, especially hiking and trail riding. Jan loved spending time with her family.

Jan is survived by her two sons, Cliff Dombrow (Laura), Zach Dombrow (Maureen); two grandchildren, Taylor and Cameron Dombrow; thirteen siblings, Christy Pierce (Terry), Curt Presser (Melanie), Leanna Leben, Doug Presser (Carlene), Matt Presser, Audi King (Kelly), Tyler Presser (Mary Beth), Patrick Presser (Missy), Shannon Dillard (Cliff), Trent Baugher (Terri) Kirk Baugher (Beverly), Gina Denton (Chuck), Brett Baugher (Mandi); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Jan was preceded in death by siblings Joseph (Hack) Presser, Christopher Baugher, Presser infants Kathy, Susan, Harold, brother-in-law Craig Leben and sister-in-law Margaret Presser.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday January 6, 2023, at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville, IL. Visiting hours will be from 5-6 on Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hardin County General Hospital Auxiliary Fund.
