Doris R. Paquette

Doris R. (Laroche) Paquette, 98, of Harrisville, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Crystal Lake Health Center, Pascoag. She was the wife of the late George A. Paquette Sr. Born in Highgate, VT, she was the daughter of the

late Albert Laroche and Leona (Bilodeau) Laroche.

Doris grew up on a farm and helped from the young age of 5. She handled horses, plowed fields, milked cows and fed chickens. She loved her country music, joking around, laughing and dancing. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with the family. She loved to go out and do almost anything; strawberry and apple picking, eating out, baking her famous breads and muffins and attending family get togethers. She loved babies...it didn't matter who's they were, it was just the mother in her.

Doris was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and great grandmother and is survived by ten of her twelve children: Diane Purcell of Newfield, ME, Joanne Dey of Rehoboth Beach, DE, Norman and Gayle Paquette of Stow, MA, Clement and Lisa Paquette of Conway, NH, George, Jr. and Sylvia Paquette of Uxbridge, MA, Gary and Janet Paquette of Middleboro, MA, Carol and Jeff Fowler of Harrisville, Matthew and Debbie Paquette of Bellingham, MA, Marian Haworth of Ashland, MA, Steven and Lisa Paquette of Acton, ME; 27 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons: Armand and Michael Paquette and four sisters: Diana Loiselle, Dora Belisle, Delia Lapan and Noela Branca.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 9 AM from the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave., Pascoag with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in

St. Patrick's Church, 45 Harrisville Main St., Harrisville. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Pascoag Main St., Pascoag. Calling hours will be Friday, December 30 from 4 to 7 PM.
