Laura J. Weber passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the age of 88. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she grew up in the Radburn section of Fair Lawn, graduated from Fair Lawn High School and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Ohio Wesleyan University. Laura was a long-time resident of Wyckoff before moving to Mahwah. She was a math and science educator with various school districts including Fair Lawn, Wyckoff and the Mahwah. Laura’s final place of employment was at the Bergen County Special Services where she was very proud and excelled with her teaching abilities. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Hans, vacationing at their beach house in Long Beach Island, visiting the fifty states and foreign countries such as Germany, France and Switzerland. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Mahwah.

Laura was predeceased by her dear husband, Hans, in 2018 to whom she was married to for 58 years. She is survived by her three sons: Erich, Mark, John, his wife Bridget Devane; five grandchildren: Krystal Witherell, Julienne, Star, Hans, Nora; two-great grandchildren Noah, Fionna and brother Edward H. Jube, Jr. “Ted”
