Mr. Craven Nelson Hunt of Fairmont was born on October 13, 1953 in Robeson County to the late Cornelius Hunt and Pearlie Jane Hunt and departed this life on December 5, 2022 in UNC Health Southeastern completing his journey of 69 years.<br><br>Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Cornelius Hunt Jr. and three sisters: Mary Oxendine, Flora Mae Clark, and Martha Ann Hunt.<br><br>Mr. Hunt leaves to cherish his memories, his son: John Oxendine and his mother: Marguerite Oxendine, both of Rowland; three brothers: James Earl “Buddy” Hunt of Pembroke, Johnny Hunt and wife Peggy of Rowland, and Dennis Hunt and wife Brenda of Pembroke; four sisters: Verta Hunt of Rowland, Annie “Diane” Oxendine of Lumberton, Ethel Mae Locklear and husband Daniel of Maxton, and Diane Hunt and husband Craven of Pembroke; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.<br><br>The visitation will be Friday, December 9, 2022 from 1-2 P. M. at Annease Drive Praise & Worship Center. The funeral will begin immediately following the visitation at 2 P.M. Burial will follow at Hickory Hill Church Cemetery.<br>Services entrusted to Boles Funeral Home of Red Springs. <br>
