Confident in the promise of eternal life, Robert L. Beach, Jr., 77, passed from this world peacefully on December 1, 2022. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 48 years Karen (Gardner) Beach, son, Reverend R. Paul Beach, daughter Katie Beach-Huff, son-in-law R. Branum Huff, sister Patricia Goebel, brother Gary (Jamie) Beach, and brother-in-law Donnie Sheehan, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents Robert L. Beach, Sr., and Dorothy (Akridge) Beach, and sisters Janet Gaskill, and Sandra (Beach) Sheehan, and brother-in-law Michael Goebel.

Growing up in Shively, KY, he was a graduate of Bishop David H.S., a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Ramstein, Germany, and was retired from the Louisville Gas and Electric Company.

A devoted husband and father, his love for his family was unsurpassed, coaching the many sports teams of his children, enjoying family vacations, attending baseball games, and spending time at the family cabin.

The family would like to express appreciation for the compassionate and loving care of the many nurses and doctors who cared for him, especially the palliative care team at Baptist East Hospital, and the support and prayers of the families of St. Stephen Martyr and St. Martin of Tours parishes.

The family will receive guests at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison Ave, on Monday, December 5th from 5:00pm-8:00pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Stephen Martyr Church, 2931 Pindell Ave., on Tuesday, December 6th, at 11:00am, with internment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
