Family and Friends, sadly on Giving Tuesday Evening, our beloved Brother Kevin W. Burr, unexpectedly fell asleep in Christ at Charlton memorial Hospital in Fall River after a brief illness. He was 68 years old.

Kevin was born and raised in New Bedford; attended local schools including University of Dartmouth, held several positions including his favorite supervisory positions during his tenure at The Reebok Company. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church before moving to Fall River 10 years ago.

Kev loved the beach! Fort Taber was his tranquil ‘Happy Place!’ Kevin was a cheerful giver, had an amazing sense of humor, loved to joke, sing and dance; enjoyed going to casinos, playing games on Facebook while listening to his favorite R& B Artists ”THE WHISPERS” and his childhood neighbors, “THE TAVARES.”

He was predeceased by his loving parents, William H, Burr, Jr and Anita. M. Burr and his beloved daughter, Rochelli Lynn Paris.

He is survived by his Sister, Robyn E. Burr of Dartmouth, MA, Brother George A. Burr and Sister-in-Law Constance Burr, his Granddaughter Shyanne Washington Paris, his Godmother Louisa-Houtman Alves several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

On behalf of the Family we would like to thank his neighbor and best friend Danny Pimentel for being an Earth Angel always there meeting every need and running errands to make sure his friend, “OG” was accommodated. God bless you for being so good to him Danny. i pray someone will be as kind to you as you were to our beloved Brother. You are loved and greatly appreciated; we are thankful, grateful by your many acts of kindness!

According to his wishes, viewing is omitted; he will be cremated with a Royal Memorial Send Off ‘Summer of 2023’. In lieu of flowers, extend an act of kindness or make a donation in his memory to his favorite Charities, Salvation Army, Make a Wish Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

A Mass for Kevin will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Assumption Church on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 4 PM. A Royal Memorial sendoff will be held in summer, 2023.
