Gary passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer with his loving family by his side, at the Chapman House in Owen Sound, on Saturday, November 26, 2022. Born on May 27, 1951, Gary Thomas Waller, of Owen Sound, was in his 72nd year.

Dearly loved husband of Cindy Waller (née Haines) for 50 years. He is survived by his son Devon (Jennifer), his grandchildren Alannah, Daniel and Nicholas, his mother Joyce Acton and his sisters Brenda Poole (Andy) and Sandra Mole. Also survived by his daughter Lisa Knapp and grandson Aidan of Brisbane Australia. Gary was a skilled welder-fabricator for over 45 years. He worked for Krueger Custom Steel and Machining until his illness. Gary was a private person, who loved spending time with his family, especially near the water. He will be greatly missed.

A Come and Go Visitation for Gary will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492 on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Private interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Chapman House would be appreciated.
